Sutemos film Pina Bausch’s famous Nelken line for Dublin Dance Festival

People all over Ireland have been invited by Dublin Dance Festival to dance in an international project featuring one of the most famous choreographies in the world.

One of the most famous dance sequences ever created by iconic German choreographer Pina Bausch: the “Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter” line from her 1982 piece NELKEN, is part of a global project by the Pina Bausch Foundation and ARTE, the European culture channel. Sutemos are delighted to be working alongside Alternative Energies youth group to recreated the famous line on the Hill of the O’Neill in Dungannon and at the Titanic quarter in Belfast!

Bounce! Dance Performances at Bounce 2016

This weekend sees the fifth annual Bounce! festival spring into action at the Lyric Theatre Belfast. With a wide range of the best in theatre, dance, performance & visual arts from the leading disabled artists across Ireland, UK and beyond, it should not be missed!

This year I have been working with Luminous Soul & Nikki McLaughlin who will join Kids In Control on the stage as part of a triple bill performance of dance and physical theatre on Sunday Afternoon Triple Bill show.

Open Arts’ Luminous Soul Dance Project will re-stage In The Shadows a choreography first performed at CityDance Festival at Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast in 2013.

Nikki McLaughlin an emerging dance artist whom I have been mentoring as she developed her new solo work, will also take to the stage with her very special debut performance of “I started from zero and now I’m here”

and  to finish off our triple bill Kids in Control join forces with Action Deaf Youth & Ligoneil Youth Club.

This afternoon will prove not to be miss with tickets at only £3!
